As you can tell I am a little obsessed with raindrops. They are just too cool. I threw the bee (I think it is a bee) shot in to add a bit of variety. I am choosing it as my best shot too.

Macro Photo Therapy
Sometimes you just have to take a break from real life, grab your camera, and take some macro shots of all the pretty plants in your backyard, right? Ok, maybe it's just me. I realized this weekend that taking these nature macro shots is very therapeutic to me. I feel like I am transported to a different world. Then I get to look at them on the computer and crop them and edit them. It's just what I needed after a weekend of being cooped up inside.

With a macro lens raindrops are too cool! I think you're right when you get down to that level it does look like a different world. Reminds me of honey I shrunk the kids. ;)

Those are fabulous macro shots! I especially love the yellow flower.
I like the second one, especially, because I think the raindrops look like eyes, but they're all great!

That bee looks like he is barely hanging on there--like the water drops! These shots are absolutely beautiful. I'm amazed by the reflections within the drops...they are like little worlds of their own.
Love the 2nd shot. It looks like some kind of little creature face.
I also get easily obsessed with the macro shots outside. I love the second one. I need to get myself a spray bottle so I can play with water drops this year.
These are great Jen. Love macro. To get so intimate with nature like that is very peaceful. It always makes me realize how beautiful things are.

oh my goodness - that second on, so gorgeous! All if them really, but that one really speaks to me. I've tried several times in the last few days to go out and photograph the raindrops clinging to tender plants...but without a macro lens, I just can't capture it how I want to.
