I have been having some camera issues lately. I usually shoot in "P" mode when I am just chasing the kids around. If I am trying to shoot something specifically, I will change between A, S, and M depending on the situation. Lately all of my shots have been way overexposed. Now that I think about it I can't remember when it started, but it seems like it has been a week or so. I searched through all the settings and tinkered with it forever. I just couldn't figure it out. I thought maybe I was going crazy and it was just me. I finally had to shoot full manual and constantly change my settings to get a decent shot. I guess it was good practice. I finally figured out the problem and fixed it, thank goodness. Here are a few of my shots that actually came out decently. I was in a close up type of mood.
I am choosing this one as my best shot. I love how her wispy bangs are in her eyes, her far off look, and of course the crusty marshmallow on her chin.
There's always more Best Shots over at Mother May I.

These are beautiful images!
(I found your blog from your Best Shot Monday comment on another....)
oh my, those eyes! my favorite is the pink frothy headband with those gorgeous sparkly eyes -- fabulous!
That is a wonderful shot - I love it converted to b&w, but they are all wonderful, so I can't pick a favorite. Good thing it wasn't up to me! Happy Monday!
I love all of these shots...I am big into filling a frame with a face, but I think my favorite is the first one. I love how Harper is looking right at the camera while she is hugging Miller, and he looks so content.
They're all great photos but I especially love that photo of Miller! Goodness, I could stare into those eyes forever.
Hey, these are great - well done on manual! I love the hug, and Harper with the pink crown. If you find that the camera consistantly overexposes, have you tried using exposure compensation?
I absolutely LOVE the last shot!
Have you checked your ISO settings? I always forget
Those are great! Yeah, I love the last one best... she looks like a girl from a fairytale. You know, plus marshmallows.
Beautiful shots - love that last one, too. :) Did you have your exposure compensation set to overexpose? I rarely shoot in anything other than manual. I find I have the most control over it that way. :)
I think they are all great, I do love the last one. I too tend to love pictures of kids with stuff on their faces.
Thank for the tag, when I finish I will let you know. :-)
Holy Cow, Jen...that last photo is AWESOME!!!! I bet, her mommy is thrilled to have that one!! All of these are great...I love close-ups!
These are gorgeous! I love close up shots!
