We have several foxes that we spot from time to time in our neighborhood. It is always exciting to see one of them dart through someone's yard. Over the last month or so, we have been seeing the same fox very frequently in our yard.
I think he or she really likes the mulch pile in the middle of our yard. I opened the window to get some better photos and scared him off.
When we go out and come back when it is dark, we can usually find him/her resting somewhere in our front yard. He is obviously not too scared of people and cars because he just looked straight at me when I was taking his picture. I took it from the car as we drove up our driveway. It didn't seem to phase him one bit.
Does anyone else have strange creatures living in their yard?

What a cute little fox! It's amazing how these animals can get so acclimated by us humans. We occassionally have deer in the front yard. Usually late fall when food is getting scarce. They eat the crabapples on our tree.

For living in such an urban area, we sure do have our share of critters! None as cute as that fox, though! We have coyotes that come from the mountains, a resident skunk, green parrots that insist on squawking at 7am every Saturday morning, and a raccoon that likes to hang in our front yard. But...as I tell the girls, it was their world first! ;)
