For some reason I just couldn't get that song from Sound of Music out of my head. I kept singing....these are a few of my favorite things. Anyway, it made me think it might be fun to share with you a few of my favorite things. Simple every day things. So here you go:
- Snuggling with my kids first thing in the morning when they are all sleepy and cute
- A fresh cup of hot coffee
- The few minutes of solitude in the car on the way to work
- Reading right before bed
- An ice cold beer preferably on tap or a margarita (either will do)
- Mexican food
- Loading my photos on the computer and discovering that one of them is actually pretty good
- Discovering a great new recipe
- A big hug from my husband (he always knows when I need one)
- My daughter's neverending imagination
- My son's obsessive compulsive behaviors
- And of course, blogging and reading blogs

Those are wonderful shots - look at that beautiful sky! I'm pretty similar, I think. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm a little photo obsessed since I always carry a camera with me on all our walks.

I can totally relate to the snuggling, the photos and the hug! I bet that was a beautiful sky to see. Love the colors.
A few of my favorite things are:
*Mt. Dew
*The feeling of crawling into a freshly changed bed
*Sleeping in when my husband is home on the weekend.
*A beach...any real beach on the ocean
*And of course, my D80 :)
It's been in the 70s here too! I'm LOVING it! Cool weather is one of my favorite things. :o) That song is from The Sound of Music, tho! Your list of favorite things sounds pretty familiar.

I think I have a lot of favorite things. Some of them:
*my DSLR
*fresh baked bread
*the sound of genuine laughter
*Tivo
*the feel of fall in the air
*the total silence of a fresh snowfall
*the feel of a hug
*the feeling that you get when you see someone's face light up and you know it was because of you
*the feeling of being rested
*the sight of a sleeping child
I agree with lots of things on your list of a few of your favorite things. :) The Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies too.
