Sledding

The combination of snow and ice that we received over the weekend was perfect for sledding.

Don't you love the pink gloves? I guess that is what happens when you have an older sister. He doesn't seem to mind though.

They would zoom down the driveway, across the street and into the neighbors front yard.

So they would do it again.

I had to stand guard at the bottom of the driveway to make sure no cars were coming. This is what our road looked like.

We still have some snow lingering around, but the roads are clear and the kids are back in school. I can honestly say I am not too sad to see it go. A couple of days is all I need.

wooHOOO! Man, that brings back some memories! It's been a looong time. My mom always made us wear face mask hats tho - hated those things!!!

Brrr....yeah, it is good for a few days and a few trips down the hill, but then it can go away! I love the pink gloves - but with the pirate hat! Perfect.

Looks like a lot of fun! Do you normally get much snow...or any snow? It is usually so cold here that we don't sled all that much, regardless of the piles of snow we have. We got a fresh few inches this week, though, so I think we will be doing some of that this weekend.
